Admission Policy

This school admits students of any race, color, religion, and national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available. All students that are admitted according to the standards of the school will have the rights to all the privileges, programs and activities made available to the student body.
Mikisa School reserves the right to admission.
The academic year begins in September for the first term. Entry to the school is preferable at that time but students may be accepted at any time in the year.
Acceptance for admission to Mikisa School follows an evaluation of the child’s previous one year’s academic records and an interview. An entry assessment test (where applicable) is used to assist in the placement process. Placement is based on a student’s performance level and not his/her chronological age.

Admission Procedure

Parents and students visit school. Parents do an online application. Parents and student read, sign and submit the Admission Policy document.

Other Application forms are submitted accompanied by:

  • admission fees and/or diagnostic fees (where applicable)
  • copy of birth certificate
  • previous school academic report cards (minimum three terms)
  • and one (1) passport photo

The school office will email for an invite to an interview (both parents and pupil) with the School Principal and Registrar. Parents will be notified of acceptance via email.
